International Law Students Association (ILSA) Chapter UNAIR is a student association within the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. Founded in 25 September 2015, ILSA Chapter UNAIR was started to accommodate students participating in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
The establishment of ILSA Chapter Universitas Airlangga began with the participation of law students in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. With growing interest in international moot court, ILSA Chapter UNAIR was founded on September 29, 2015, as a branch of ILSA Headquarters in Washington D.C. Iman Prihandono, S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D., the founder of ILSA Chapter UNAIR, played a pivotal role in its creation, making it the first ILSA chapter in Indonesia
ILSA Chapter UNAIR started with a strong foundation in international law and has since grown significantly. Beyond participating in moot court competitions, the organization has expanded its activities to include various programs, such as legal visits, workshops, and networking events. This growth demonstrates ILSA Chapter UNAIR’s dedication to enhancing its members’ legal expertise and fostering a vibrant international law community within Universitas Airlangga.
